Job Abstract:


Main Objectives & Purpose:

Position Objective:
To actively contribute towards development and enhancement of various PeopleSoft projects by means of performing analysis, configuration and data conversion of PeopleSoft HCM ver 9.1 (PSFT) modules.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop customized online objects for the user interface that may include components, pages, records, and fields
  • Develop custom reports using XML-Publisher and/or SQR
  • Develop process definitions, data conversion programs, and outbound interface programs using Application Engine
  • Unit test and debug all programs and objects developed before handover
  • Support data cleansing efforts by documenting and providing HR users and HRIS team with information on data issues and inconsistencies
  • Configure application user security profiles using PeopleSoft Security Admin to enforce the system access provisioning requirements as stated by the stakeholders
  • Perform configuration testing as and when necessary


Performance Parameters for the Role:
·         Develop secure, flexible and scalable applications for Client.





KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:


Technical:        
·         More than 6 years experience in IT overall (experience with a software vendor or SI partner firm will be a plus point)
·         More than 4 years of experience implementing PeopleSoft HRMS (any version greater than 8.8)
·         Must be well versed and have substantial hands-on experience in at least two of the following development areas of PeopleSoft:
·         Advanced Application Package PeopleCode and Component/Page modification
·         Application Engine with Component Interface for loading data into PeopleSoft
·         Excel-To-CI loading of data into PeopleSoft
·         XML-Publisher Reporting and Report Manager
·         Experience in HR business processes and HR data
·         Degree major in Computer Science or Information Systems
·         Experience leading a development team of two or more people will be a plus point
